William G Basralian Funeral

My wife passed suddenly last weekend leaving our family and I in total shock and denial. Funeral arrangements were the last thing any of us wanted to do but we knew it was necessary to put my loving wife and my children’s loving mom to rest. Basralian funeral home was the first place on a list of places we were going to call. Bill answered the phone and couldn’t have been more understanding of what we were going through. He asked us what we were envisioning in the way of services and helped us plan everything from start to finish. He did not try to sell additional services we didn’t ask for and his pricing was very fair. After a few minutes on the phone we were convinced this was the right place for us. We were right! Bill and Vanessa were so easy to work and made everything we asked for happen. The viewing room was set up beautifully and access to the building was never a problem. You will be in good hands with Bill and Vanessa

I never thought I'd write a review for a funeral home but the reality and life forced me to. I am endlessly thankful to Bill and Vanessa for their fantastic help with managing my husband's funeral. When my husband unexpectedly passed away I have been under incredible stress, my mind being foggy, paralyzed from the shock and unable to think normally. In addition, I am an immigrant and I had NO idea how to possibly organize and handle a funeral in the U.S. It is NOT same as in my country and when you try to do things quickly under such circumstances and by yourself only, it just seems to you like an impossible task to do. THANK GOD our priest recommended this funeral home to me because I have no idea how I'd manage everything. Bill and Vanessa are true professionals, and both had an incredible patience with my millions of questions and random calls I made to them. They knew exactly what to do and they never try to oversell anything to you. In addition, they are really nice people and they will never rush you or make you feel uncomfortable. They are very sensible and really do their best for you to go through this very stressful event the easiest possible. Nobody loves funerals and nobody wants to deal with funeral homes but I consider myself to be very lucky that I worked with them. I just wish I met them under different circumstances! Bill and vanessa, you both are genuinely caring and compassionate people. You both have the gift of providing great comfort and conveying serenity and guidance with the death and funeral process. I have received so many complinents on how beautiful everything was handled. Your service is impeccable. The Brady family are very grateful for all the help and support throughout this difficult time. Hands down Basralian funeral home is by far in my opinion..... the best funeral home in Bergen county!

It is almost impossible to put into words how kind and gentle a man Mr. Basralian is - and how he took so much of the pain out of the loss of our beloved Dad recently. My Dad also knew him when his own sister (our Aunt) died and Bill was tremendous throughout that process as well. His grace and sense of humor under difficult circumstances and clever personality eased everyone through the process. We cannot thank him and his team enough for all they did to help us through a very emotional and trying time.

William is a God send! I used his services when my father passed years ago and had to use him again when my mom was in hospice. He made the entire process so easy. He was accommodating and even made me laugh during this tough time. Most of all, he did an amazing job with my mother. She looked amazing and I will always be grateful for how wonderful a job they did with her considering how I saw my mom last in hospice. His staff is professional and when I had to bring my young daughter with me to take care of some things with Mr. Basralian, his dog Buddy was amazing too! Would highly recommend him and his services. And he is reasonable in his pricing. God bless him!!
